Foster & Son
A labour of love
Foster & Son are London’s oldest bespoke shoe and bootmaker, tracing their origins back to 1840. Their craftsmen and women use skills unchanged for centuries, making only a small number of the very best that can be made.
With the launch of their ready-to-wear range and factory in Northampton, G–A were asked to breathe new life into the brand without alienating their exiting client base whilst also attracting new customers.
What we did
We tackled all aspects of the brand from fine tuning their logo, expanding their colour palette and modernising their typography. The process included the launch of a brand new website and elevating their social media presence.
We also created a variety of printed materials from a new extensive look book, and promotional leaflets through to newsletters and ad hoc material to support their numerous trunk shows worldwide.
Through the lens
Whether it was at their London workshop or a specialist studio, G–A photographed their ready-to-wear and bespoke ranges along with all leather goods and accessories. We also shot an extensive library of images that showcases their people and demonstrates their craft skills and working processes.
Foster & Son have now been fitted with a perfectly formed online shop and a variety of tools to take their brand and unique products forward to future generations, which compliments their on-going commitment to sustaining the very highest standards of English Leather craftsmanship and supporting their discerning client base.
