The Brief:The Walpole is a not-for-profit organisation that furthers the interests of the British luxury industry by harnessing and sharing the collective knowledge, experience and resources of the membership. When they required a new website on a Drupal 7 platform, they approach us to produce a new online presence with the aim of confirming their position as the definitive voice of British luxury.

Project notes:The Walpole leads an active programme of thought leadership, research, political engagement, initiatives and events to promote and inspire British luxury worldwide. The new website had to reflect this in an elegant, understated and upmarket fashion. Other important project objectives included the need to increase traffic and leverage their unique luxury community online, become the first-choice searchable page on British luxury, and promote their constant stream of events and initiatives.

The Result:The new Walpole site blends engaging editorial with intuitive functionality, catering for a wide range of different user groups. The design reflects how The Walpole stands shoulder to shoulder with its member brands including British Airways, Fortnum & Mason, McLaren Automotive and The Dorchester. Visitors to the site can purchase tickets for events and seminars, request a yearbook about The Walpole members, enquire to become a member, and find out general information about the British luxury industry.
