The Brief:The fragrance and beauty brand Miller Harris – which recently won Best Niche Brand at the Sunday Times Style Beauty Awards 2012 – asked us to produce a stunning new Magento eCommerce site to showcase their products and the creative flair of Lyn Harris.
Project notes: So, how do you communicate a collection of fragrances online? On close inspection of the Miller Harris business, it became clear that Lyn’s signature style is defined by her love of naturals and her precision in using them is prevalent in all her creations. Our designers therefore tried to create an organic, earthy and natural looking online experience that reflects Lyn’s values, both personal and commercial.
The Result: The Miller Harris website is burning bright with transactions up 15% in 2012, traffic from SEO up 45% and conversions up 20%. The strong performance of the new online presence is down to a number of key features. Firstly, the interactive navigation means that customers are always only one click away from their chosen product. Secondly, the graphics and landing pages are exquisitely crafted. Thirdly, the one-page checkout process is quick to operate as a guest or registered user.
