Project notes: We’re delighted to announce the launch of a new website for Charlotte Tilbury, one of the world’s leading make-up artists. She has earned iconic status in the fashion/beauty world through her unparalleled artistic prowess and an inimitable eye for colour that helps her turn “mere beauties into glossy goddesses” according to The New York Times.
The homepage design reflects the creative and artistic world of Charlotte Tilbury using a variety of social media content within a single responsively designed platform. The engaging content includes Charlotte’s recent ‘My Blog’ posts, ‘How To’ videos, her latest covers, inspiration via Pinterest and Instragram, and latest musings on Twitter.
The more blog posts and how-to videos are added, the longer the homepage becomes. Effectively, the entire content of the website can be viewed at a glance on the homepage, which is truly innovative.
The responsive design means that the website adapts to fit the user’s screen. For example the iPad version of the website adapts to two columns with the ‘Stuff I Love’ social feeds dropping below the ‘My Blog’ and ‘How To’ videos
