The Brief:The original girlie-chic boutique on London’s Kings Road, Austique has embarked on a bold expansion plan featuring retail store openings and an all-new Magento eCommerce website. The online makeover needed to happen before the launch of their flagship West End store in Marylebone, London.
Project Notes:Voted one of London’s top 10 shops by Vogue.com, Austique wanted the eCommerce shopping experience to reflect the in-store experience, described by Vogue as “a delicious haven for all things nice”. The new online destination had to look fabulous and Chairman Maurice Bennett (founder/investor in Warehouse, Oasis, Coast and Oliver Sweeney) wanted the new site to act as stylist, confidente, advisor and advocate to customers.
The Result:Austique’s new e-commerce website is generating over three times more revenue than before we got involved. Traffic is up 142%, conversions up 50% and the average sale price up over 25%. Now with their online boutique Austique offers customers the same impeccable customer service you would receive in the Chelsea and Marylebone stores through online stylist advice. Guidance is available from Austique’s online personal shopper, who offers complementary style-tips and general advice tailor-made to individual requirements.
