The Brief:The Affordable Art Fair (AAF) approached us to produce a new website that reflects their simple formula: a relaxed, unstuffy environment where people can view and buy good quality, contemporary art. All of the individual fairs in the Americas, Asia and Europe needed to look consistent with one another and display one clear, coherent branded look and feel. The objectives of the new site included selling tickets, capturing data and conveying the sense that the AAF is a global brand.
Project notes: The AAF aims to be the most relaxed event where you can browse and buy a diverse array of contemporary, affordable art. The new site style had to be reflect this in a manner that is aspirational, fun, inviting, enticing, informative, clean and simple to navigate. Being a portal for the latest in contemporary artistic taste, the design had to be appropriate and stimulate the most inquisitive artistic enthusiasts.
The Result: The new AAF site is a truly global portal with dedicated areas for the local fairs in London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, New York, Seattle, Hong Kong, Singapore, Amsterdam, Brussels, Hamburg, Milan, Rome and Stockholm. The site design is stylish, stimulating, respected, eclectic, and welcoming. The AAF continues to become something of a global phenomenon with new fairs planned for new, international locations. The marketing is ideally placed to help support the AAF’s growth from a marketing and administration perspective.
