Friday Famous Five Interview – Charlie Cox

101009_CC_VanityFair

Next to face our “Famous Five” grilling is the quintessential English actor, Charlie Cox. Most renowned for his starring role in the film Stardust, (alongside Robert De Niro, Sienna Miller and Claire Danes), Cox is a guy who has it all. A Hollywood career, model good looks, celebrity girlfriend (sorry girls), and…the answers to our five questions.

GA: Charlie, what’s your favourite website?

CC: YouTube. Watch a clip called “bug in mouth” and notice how the guy’s voice changes when he is no longer “reporting”.  I’m laughing just thinking about it now.

GA: Facebook or Twitter?

CC: Have never used either, and secretly feel very proud that I haven’t been sucked in yet. Although, if I was to “follow” anyone, it would be Oprah Winfrey.

GA: What can’t you live without?

CC: My best friend Ned… actually no change that to Marmite!!!

GA: What’s your best feature?

CC: I have no idea how to answer this without being crude!!!

GA: Best present you’ve ever recieved?

CC: See previous!!!

Friday Famous Five Interview – Paul Daniels

Paul d and wife

(For an explanation as to what “Friday Famous Five” is, click here!)

Paul Daniels has entertained scores of people from the tender age of 11, when, during a holiday, he discovered the book ‘How To Entertain At Parties’ and realised his calling in life.

Paul Daniels rocketed to the forefront of the nation’s psyche in the eponymous ‘Paul Daniels Magic Show’, which ran on the BBC from 1979 to 1994. He subsequently featured on a number of other shows including ‘Odd One Out’, ‘Every Second Counts’, ‘Wipeout’ and ‘Wizbit’.

One half of the UK’s most cherished celebrity couple, Daniels and his wife Debbie McGee now spend much of their time championing charitable causes.

It is appropriate that Daniels should be our first guest on FFF, as he fully endorses digital and even has his own website (http://www. pauldaniels.co.uk), and Twitter feed with over 20,000 fans!

Click here to listen to the Friday Famous Five interview with Paul. Enjoy, and look out for Debbie’s answers here in a couple of weeks!

(Ps – try not to get the ‘Ha-ha this-away; ha-ha that-away’ Wizbit theme music stuck in your head…)

Friday Famous Five!

Here at Graphic Alliance, we love alliteration.  Hot on the heels of  Monday Morning Munchies, we bring you a new recurring section of our blog – Friday Famous Five.

Hmm, what’s that…? I hear you ask.

Well, I’ll tell you.

We all sat down in the office last week and realised that, collectively, we know quite a few interesting people.  We then thought that it would be nice to ask them five (partially) digital-related questions, and put their answers on our blog. So, that’s what we are doing!

The questions (below) are succinct, the answers illuminating, and over the coming months, we will be featuring an eclectic range of people; from famous magicians to Hollywood film stars, sport players to illustrious academics. Stay tuned….
