2022 a year in review

‘2022 was a big year’ is potentially an understatement. Let's reflect on how 2022 impacted our lives.

‘2022 was a big year’ is potentially an understatement. Forget change being the constant, turmoil became the status quo. Those social, financial, political and environmental influences placed huge pressures on brands and consumers alike and upended the way we needed to engage and communicate. It proved the need to closely connect our clients with their audiences and to be agile in the way we respond to the trading environment. No one knows all the answers and nobody has traded in today’s market.

Just reflect, for a second, on how 2022 impacted our lives. Three years after COVID burst onto the scene, the world appeared to have turned the corner on the first global pandemic in a century. But as we all looked forward to less turbulent times, we saw turmoil in British politics, major war return to Europe with the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the U.S. end its policy of strategic engagement with China, countrywide anti-repression protests break out in Iran and unprecedented levels of climate related disasters. In summary, 2022 made an indelible stamp on all of our lives.

Fortunately, for us at Everything Connected, 2022 was not a year of turmoil but a year of positive change. As we helped our clients to navigate the ever-changing digital landscape, we adapted to help deliver their needs with a growth focused and connected services offer.

Firstly a new name. Everything Connected. More than just a name, it's our mantra and our approach. Through the merger of 3 like-minded businesses and over 19 years of experience, we created our connected services agency. Laser-focused on connecting strong brands, delivering cut-through marketing and creating best-in-class digital experiences. We also have a new brand identity and website due to launch imminently. We moved offices from Clerkenwell to the West End. We welcomed handfuls of fantastic new talent into the business and bucketfuls of exciting new clients, from globally recognised fashion, beauty and drinks brands, financial institutes and education organisations to ground-breaking new start-ups.

Most importantly we have continued to put out great work. Creative with purpose and the power to connect. Brands that excite, websites that convert and content that engages. We have built brands, strategies, websites, products and content with the power to turn clicks into conversions and goals into growth. Here is a showcase of just some of the work that the teams delivered in 2022. A huge thank you to all our clients, existing and new, and to the Everything Connected team who continue to deliver on their behalf.
